European Freelance & Future of Work Innovation Summit
The European Freelance & Future of Work Innovation Summit took place in Brussels on 29th November in the European Parliament.
This consisted of keynotes, panels and sessions dedicated to the workstyle of today covering digital transformation, project-based employment and the rise of open talent. The agenda featured politicians and thought-leaders from business. The sessions were interactive, so that we effectively moved the coffee break atmosphere into the main sessions to ensure dialogue, debate and opinion-sharing.
This event was held in partnership between Ework Group, Freelance Movement, Free Trade Europa, SME Europe and Supportwave.
This event then merged into the SME Europe and SME Connect agendas later in the day and underlined the “politics meets SMEs” focus, with politicians meeting with a host of entrepreneurs from across Europe. We were also co-hosting the SME Europe Awards as part of the evening session.
A snapshot from what is going on in Europe, US and UK from leading practitioners highlighted the transformative role of digitalisation and what it means for the labour market, as well as assess what a sustainable platform/future of work model looks like.
